Rates & Cost Coverage
Transparent pricing for physiotherapy in Zurich — at my practice or as a home visit, with or without medical prescription.
How Billing Works
In Switzerland, physiotherapy with a valid medical prescription is billed through your basic health insurance (KVG) or accident/liability insurer (UVG/IV/MV). Sessions without a prescription are invoiced directly to you at self-pay rates. I issue invoices compliant with official Swiss physiotherapy billing standards and am recognised by all Swiss insurers.
Insurance Coverage
KVG – Basic Health Insurance
Physiotherapy sessions prescribed by a doctor are covered by your obligatory health insurance. You pay only your deductible (Franchise) and co-payment (Selbstbehalt) as defined by your policy.
UVG / IV / MV
Work accidents, non-work accidents, and invalidity insurance cover physiotherapy at regulated tariffs. Your employer's accident insurer or IV handles billing directly.
Supplementary Insurance
Many supplementary insurance plans (Zusatzversicherung) cover physiotherapy without a prescription or with extended session limits. Please verify your coverage directly with your insurer.
KVG Rates (With Prescription)
Billed according to the official Swiss physiotherapy tariff. Canton Zurich tax point value: CHF 1.11.

Self-Pay Rates (No Prescription)

Cancellation Policy
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or missed without cancellation will be charged at the full session rate. These costs are typically not covered by insurance and remain the patient's responsibility.
Important Note
Responsibility for clarifying insurance cost coverage lies with the patient. We recommend contacting your insurer before starting treatment to confirm the extent of your coverage.
